Posted by TheLCster

IFilterShop XMP Edit Toolkit evaluationEric Cartman is the new Glenn Beck. Last night on “South Park” the chubby youngster took over morning announcements and turned them from standard bullet points into long screeds about the student class president. Turns out Eric hates her and as a result devotes all his time to creating and promoting crazy conspiracy theories about her time in office. Sound familiar?

Vice President Biden Leads Discussion on Middle Class Families in D.C.

vicepresidentbg-title-midclassfinal

bidenjoemiddleclassWhiteHouse.gov—On Thursday at the Center for American Progress in Washington D.C., Vice President Biden moderated an in-depth discussion focusing on the long-term, structural challenges facing middle class families in today’s economy. Joined by a panel of policy experts, the group focused on broader issues such as the overall labor market in recent decades; shifting gender roles and the need for work-life balance in today’s economy; economic inequality and mobility; the increased gap between productivity and wages, and much more.

Going forward, the Middle Class Task Force will continue working with these panelists, among other outside experts, developing policy ideas to help lift the living standards of working families. As the Vice President put it Thursday: “That dynamic—where the economy’s moving forward as middle class families fall back—that just doesn’t work for the president, for me, and, certainly, for millions of families who are finding the system to be working against them, not for them.”

LA Governor Bobby Jindal Booed Loudly At Obama Town Hall

Posted by Audiegrl

obama-new-orleans-sg-cropped-proto-custom_3Once again President Obama proves that he out classes his Republican opponents by a mile. Earlier today during a town hall held in Nola, the president mentioned the name of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal. The audience replied with a resounding chorus of boos. So did the president agree with them (like his right-wing opponents would have) or did he show some real class by discouraging the booing?

No, no, Bob is doing a good job,” the president told the crowd at the University of New Orleans. “Bobby, if it makes you feel any better I get that all the time,” he continued, and the crowd laughed. More seriously, he added, “Even though we have our differences politically, one thing I will say is that this person is working hard on behalf of the state, and you gotta give people credit for working hard.” This time, the audience cheered.

That’s how this President rolls…
