The Real Story Behind the “Rogue” in Sarah Palin’s New Book.

Going Rogue

Sarah Palin apparently hopes to make the term “rogue” impish and endearing, and hopes it will help her sell a lot of books. But that term is no such thing to many Alaskans. It wasn’t “cute” when it was used as a finely sharpened tool in the Palin toolbox, used to malign the characters of those who stood in the way of her power scramble to become the Vice President of the United States.
She may have fooled her ghost writer, and the folks at Harper-Collins, and she may fool many of those in the Lower 48 who will wait on line for their copy of Going Rogue, but she will not fool Alaskans. Read more@: The Mudflats

Its just about gaming the system at this point. 😉

Conservative activists, think tanks, lobbyist groups, and churches will buy large quantities of her book from New York Times reporting stores.

The next week, she will be on the NYT best-sellers list. Its a proven formula that keeps the conservative non-fiction books on the list.

The book will be promoted constantly on Rupert Murdock’s Fox News and right-wing radio.

Which will help Harper Collins (also owned by Murdock) sell more books.

They have to do something to get her to earn out that huge $7 million advance they paid her.

The wheel goes round and round…they have this game down to a science. 😉

I would love to read the book, but I refuse to give Murdock any money. And for that matter Palin. She has lied and lied and lied and the right wing just skips right over that flaw.

Shannyn Moore was on KO tonight talking about the name of her book. And the gal that runs The Mudflats was on Rachel. Hopefully if they are on enough shows people will see that Palin cannot be trusted. But then again I don’t trust any of them.

OT, but our Republican congressman had another phone thing where he called constituents and you could pose a question to him on health care. If you were lucky you would be called on. Charlie chose this time not to ask because last time they just ignored him. But they did say if you want the dems health care bill to touch 2 on your phone. So Charlie sat there for 45 minutes listening to all the questions and all the answers that were lies, and hit 2 over 100 times. Each time a voice came on and said “your vote has been recorded.” At the end of the phone call they said that the support for the republican’s bill was 85%. Charlie just said to me, “they lie, it’s the only thing they know how to do.”

I can just picture Charlie hitting that ‘2’ button over and over again and cussing at them. LOL 😉

On the Palin book… Unfortunately, she has already got her advance money, so she made out like a bandit, even if only 10 copies were sold.

But you can definitely not give any more money to Rupert. 😉
